Sales Consultant
I am currently employed by Harvey Norman electrical in Blanchardstown as a sales person in the white goods section of the store.
My responsibilities include:

​To meet and exceed sales targets whilst creating an exceptional service.
To be an expert on all current sales and promotional campaigns and company initiatives.
To demonstrate detailed knowledge of products and product categories. To relay that knowledge to potential customers ensuring their needs are met.
To handle merchandising duties and assist in the organisation of various in-store promotions.
To complete every step of the sale thoroughly from greeting the customer to ensuring timely delivery of the product.
To order requested products from suppliers, and liaise with said suppliers to achieve successful transportation of products to the customer via the HN supply chain.
To be an expert on the finance and guarantee packages available to the customer and assist the customer in availing of these products.
Take ownership of customer issues and manage them through to a timely and satisfactory conclusion.
Listen to and handle customer complaints and where necessary escalate priority issues.

Proprietary Director
I was a self-employed proprietary director running my four Subway stores for 14 years.
My ​responsibilities included:
Liaise with the franchisor and agreeing sales targets and profit goals.
Breaking down sales goals into trackable units and achieving targets.
Cost analysis, problem identification, action plan management and goal achievement verification. 
Paperwork and Controls, reporting to franchisor head office.
Administration of Payroll system.
Compiling all revenue returns including p30, VAT3, p45, p35 and p60 and maintained the basic accounts for the business.
Liaise with the franchisor with regards to maintenance of standards and brand integrity.
Locating, leasing and equipping new locations.
HACCP implementation and monitoring.
Implementation of cleanliness action plans and cleaning systems.

Subway Operation Services 1999-2004

Operations Manager
Responsible for overseeing the operation of two Subway restaurants and one Mexican food restaurant, communicating directly with the owner who was resident in Arizona.
I worked primarily in the Dublin Subway restaurant while overseeing the operation of the other units in Germany.
I liaised with the owner to determine sales and control targets on a quarterly basis and communicated those targets to the other managers and ensured those targets were met.
I compiled all revenue returns including p30, VAT3, p45, p35 and p60 and maintained the basic accounts for the Dublin business.

Happy Family Foods (T/A Mcdonald’s) 1997-1999

1st Assistant Manager.
I was responsible directly to the owner for the direction of the management team and the day to day running of the restaurant.
I liaised with the franchisee to determine sales targets and budgets for labour and other controls monthly and ensured these targets were achieved.

My duties included but were not limited to:
Implementation of the employee training program.
HACCP.
Labour control.
Customer care.
Health & safety.
Food cost analysis (including action plans to investigate any variances and improve control)
Profit & loss account.
Templeville Ltd. 1996-1997

General Manager.
I was employed as general manager of three delicatessens/sandwich bars and solely responsible for all aspects of their operation.
This included the training and development of the supervisory team in the areas of food safety, HACCP, scheduling and labour control, human resources management, cost analysis and management, cleanliness and implementation of cleaning systems.
My responsibilities also included reporting of all sales information directly to the head office and reports to the managing director.
I did weekly evaluations on the stores in the areas of food safety, food quality, cleanliness and customer service and from those developed action plans to improve standards within the stores.

1st Assistant Manager.
I worked my way up through the ranks in McDonald’s over a period of 6 years being promoted because of excellent to outstanding performance reviews and a positive can-do attitude.
While working in Pantry Franchise Ireland I received a thorough grounding in process driven restaurant management, and more importantly people management.
My duties included scheduling for up to 200 staff.
